I turned the page on my calendar and this was the picture. It is so true! Embrace the change! Learn, thrive and grow!
I want to share my recent learning, not in jewelry making in fact, but in jewelry photography!
Let’s face it, my pictures are sometimes pretty bad. People told me to change this or that, but I am not a photographer! (And I do not have a groovy camera!).
But then I met a kind person who mentored me. I build a light box out of a cardboard box and tissue paper. He told me the light sources had to be the same type and brightness, so I bought 3 desk lamps ( on sale ). He taught me that the white background I was using was messing with the light balance of the auto focus camera (whatever that is). And all of a sudden I took some amazing photos. But here, see for yourselves…
First an “old” photo.
Now one in the light box….
This is my light box:
Enjoy some of my new photos!
I THINK I CAN…I THINK I CAN!
Learn something new every day!
It feels great!
Thanks for listening!
